JUNGLE ADVENTURE CHALLENGE

Hi, I will be one of your guides on the Jungle Adventure Challenge. Let me explain what our Adventure Challenge is all about. If you have heard of challenge courses and team building, you are on the right track. These Challenges are a lot of FUN and EXCITING and will challenge you personally as well as your team! Together you will overcome a lot of different obstacles and as you solve jungle problems.
This course is great for anybody 8 years or older and in reasonable physical condition.

The main theme of this adventure is to work together to survive in the jungle. This is not just a normal jungle, this is a magical jungle which is full with sleeping giants. Without waking them up, we must cross crocodile gulch, and climb the snake tree to rescue a golden monkey. You have to transport your entire team across quicksand swamp, and do the log walk at waterfalls pass. Finally we must take to the trees to avoid any of the giants you may have disturbed (Canopy Tour).

THE COURSE - The whole Adventure Challenge consists of 2 identical courses! As you go along you can see the other teams you are competing with taking the same challenges. The equipment we have put on you will help you overcome these obstacles. I will explain what equipment you need to use and how to use it as we go through the tour. Every team will have a guide assigned to them.

HOW IS SCORED - You are scored both individually and as a team. There are 5 challenges to do in total, and each team is timed on every one. At the end of the tour, we will figure out which team won the Jungle Adventure Challenge and who is the individual winner in each team!!!

CHALLENGE 1: HUNTER SKILLS

You are in Tarzan's Jungle, a place that is filled with many different things. I will give you a list of some of the things we want you to look for as you walk along. The list includes both natural living things and things we have placed along the way. Let me know the moment you see anything that is on the list. Remember it gives your team and yourself bonus points if you find them.

CHALLENGE 2: CROCODILE RIVER

In this river live giant crocodiles. They have buried themselves in the mud and are sleeping right now. We want to challenge you as a team to cross this river without waking them up. However there is a problem. In your struggle to survive, you have lost all but one of your pulleys. So, you must find out a way to get everybody across!

CHALLENGE 3: RESCUE THE MONKEY

As you already know, this jungle is a magical place full with potential danger. The forest sleeps during the day and comes alive at night. The giant snakes sleeping on this tree are highly venomous. If you touch them, they will wake up. Look at the monkey in the tree, he is so afraid that he cannot move. If you pet him on the head, you will give him the confidence to escape from the snakes. Using this rope you must find a way to get up there!

CHALLENGE 4: THE QUICKSAND SWAMP

This area is called Quicksand Swamp . The ground looks solid but it is not. Underneath it lies a layer of quicksand that will suck you under if you step on it. The object of this challenge is to get all your team members from the starting points to the finish stump in the shortest time possible.

CHALLENGE 5: WATERFALLS PASS

Welcome to Waterfalls Pass. This is the final element in our Jungle Adventure Challenge. You must cross the river of the Waterfall Pass ! Luckily a log fell over it. The object of this challenge is to go across the log, touch the ground at the opposite side, then return by walking backwards on the way back. All team members must do this once.
