Is the Canopy Tour safe? Absolutely! Our Canopy Tour has been built and designed using International Safety Standards. The American Challenge Course Technologies from the USA (ACCT) inspected our Canopy and gave us the international safety certification, accepted worldwide in over 18 countries. We can proudly say that we have the best safety record in the industry. 5 years of experience gives us the backup and experience you are looking for. How we keep it safe: 1. Personnel - Highly qualified and experienced guides. Guides receive 3 months of full time training before being allowed on their own. Training consists of safety and Canopy Tour operations, first aid and client service. - All personnel is bilingual, safety talk on what to do and what not to do on the tours is always offered in English and Spanish and upon request in advance the talk can be given in any other language.
- Use of only appropriate equipment and material - Top quality climbing equipment and building material, made and certified by reputable, well-established manufacturers. - We follow all manufacturers' recommendations for the use and care of equipment and material. - We maintain documented inspection and maintenance program of all elements. - Only qualified personnel handles equipment and materials.
- We use internationally recognized climbing techniques and safety rules. - You are at all times always under the care and control of qualified personal. - Participants are always connected to safety lines around trees when participating in the Canopy Tour. You never stand loose at a platform.
- The tours will not run when the administration considers that the weather conditions are not the proper ones for running them. - Children under the age of 8 years cannot participate in the Canopy Tour or - No one under the effect of liquor, drugs or any other substances that affect reflexes or attention will be allowed on the Canopy Tour or Jungle Adventure Challenge. - Persons with medical conditions that are likely to interfere with their enjoyment or safety, or persons weighting over 260 pounds will not be allowed on the Canopy Tour or Jungle Adventure Challenge. - Mentally or physically challenged persons can only participate in the Canopy Tour and Jungle Adventure Challenge with approval of the administration. - The administration asks pregnant women to please not make the Canopy Tour or Jungle Adventure Challenge. In spite of all that we do to ensure your safety, in an activity such as this we cannot predict nor completely eliminate all of the potential risks. During normal operations, participants may receive minor injuries such as insect bites and muscle strains. All guests must sign a Safety Waiver prior to participating in the tours. We reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone for safety reasons.
